Lauri King

With 37 years of experience in physical therapy, including seven years providing home health care in the Lake Chelan Valley, Lauri King has dedicated her career to helping people of all ages regain strength, mobility, and confidence. Her expertise spans orthopedics, neurology, manual therapy, geriatrics, pediatrics, aquatic therapy, and joint rehabilitation, allowing her to offer a well-rounded approach to recovery. 

Recognizing the need for therapy services that were more accessible and cost-effective—especially for individuals with high deductibles, HSA accounts, or those waiting for outpatient care—Lauri founded "Your Place" as an alternative to traditional home health and outpatient therapy. Her goal is to ensure that people receive quality, personalized care exactly where they need it most.

Lauri holds multiple specialized certifications, including joint replacement rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and home health COS-C. She also earned an executive certification in home modifications and adaptations from USC, reinforcing her commitment to creating safe, functional environments for her patients. 

As a certified clinical and adjunct instructor in pediatrics and geriatrics, she has contributed to shaping the next generation of therapists at institutions like UPS and Lake Washington Tech Institute. A graduate of Cal State Northridge and UCLA Hospitals and Clinics, with additional post-graduate work at UW, USC, UCLA, and the Santa Barbara Rehabilitation Institute, Lauri brings a wealth of experience and a passion for patient-centered care. Alongside the "Your Place" team, she is committed to helping individuals move better through life in the spaces where they feel most comfortable.
